Weekly Reminders

September 13, 2026

September 14-18, 2026

Good Afternoon, Pirate Families,

We are starting week four of the school year, and things are going well. Our attendance was amazing last week. On multiple days, we had more than 95% of our students at school. We would love to keep that number higher than 97%, so thank you in advance for anything you can do to support us in that effort.

This week, we will have our first home games. Students may stay after school for games. They must stay in the cafeteria for study hall until 3:30. Admission is $5.00, and students must wear their school-issued name tags at athletic events

Here are some reminders for the coming days:
  • Monday, September 14--RBMS Parent Information Night 6-7pm. Come out to learn about Infinite Campus, IXL, GEAR-UP, Tutor.com, and other ways to help your student succeed this school year.
  • Tuesday, September 15--Soccer / Volleyball HOME vs. Grandview (4pm)-All spectators must come in the main entrance of the school to pay admission.
  • Wednesday, September 16--Wear Pink Day--We are asking students and staff to wear pink to show support for Ms. Angela Williams, principal at Maiden Middle School, whose sons and husband coach RBMS football. She is facing breast cancer, and we want to show her and her family that we are behind them as they face this hardship. Football will have a HOME game vs. Maiden Middle (4:15 at Bunker Hill). We will have a 50/50 to support the Williams family.
  • Thursday, September 17--Constitution Day. Soccer / Volleyball HOME vs. JFMS (4pm)
  • Friday, September 18--The RBMS Band of Pirates will be playing in the pep band at the Bunker Hill vs. Bandys football game.

One area in which we need assistance from our students' families is the afternoon car line. Cars are backing up onto Oxford School Road and blocking traffic in the afternoons. To help mitigate this issue, please do the following:
  • Pull all the way up to the car in front. We've had several gaps left that if reduced will help get cars off the road.
  • Form two lines. Please double up in order to bring more vehicles off the main road.

Take care, and have a great week!

Go, Pirates!
