Good Afternoon, Pirate Families,
RBMS is coming of a great school year in 2025-2026, but we have our sights set on having an even better one for 2026-2027, and the support of our parents/guardians will help us reach those aspirations. To help your student get ready for the coming year, please review our
Student Handbook with him/her. We will be sending a hardcopy home, as well. We ask that the student and the parent/guardian sign the last page and return it so we know everyone is aware of the expectations.
A few notes regarding arrival and dismissal: The doors open for car riders at 7:10 and classes start at 7:30.Everyone needs to be in the building no later than 7:25. Bus riders will be dismissed at 2:25 and car riders at 2:27. For both drop off and pick-up, please pull all the way up to the mailbox along side the sidewalk to help keep cars off the road. Staff members will be on site to guide you. Please see the image in this message.
On Monday, we will also be sending home information regarding the
Protecting Our Students Act. If you wish for your child to attend that presentation which will take place on Friday, August 28, please sign the permission slip and send it back to school by Wednesday, August 26.
Later in the week, we will also be sending home information about picture day (September 9) and Free and Reduced Lunch. Though our students all receive a free breakfast and lunch each day at RBMS, we ask families to fill out these forms to help us maintain the option to have free breakfast and lunch. You may either fill out the form and send it back, or complete the
online registration.

We are looking forward to a great year, and we are excited about getting to be a part of your child's formative years. Thank you in advance for all of the support you will provide our teachers and staff this year to help make sure we keep our kids growing and learning.
