Good Evening, Pirate Families,

Here are some details regarding the upcoming start of the 2026-2027 school year at River Bend Middle School.

We will have an Open House event on Wednesday, August 19, from 4:30-6:30. This is a floating event, so drop by any time between 4:30 and 6:30. Students will receive their schedules at that time. Report to the media center to pick up schedules. Bus information will be in the cafeteria.
For our 7th graders, we will host Jump Start on Thursday, August 13, from 11am until 2pm. Lunch will be provided, but students must provide their own transportation. Success in middle school depends on a smooth transition, and JumpStart is a great way for our new seventh graders to learn about RBMS expectations and about how to SAIL as a Pirate (SAFTY, ACCOUNTABILIY, INEGTRITY, and LEADERSHIP). In addition, though students at RBMS will receive breakfast and lunch at no charge this year, many families choose to apply for Free & Reduced Lunch. For anyone who would like to complete that application, here is the link: Free & Reduced Lunch application.
